I was feeling sorry for myself.
I hadn't just gotten a card, I felt like I had received a hug in my mailbox! It made me want to send other people "hugs" in their mailboxes.
This is my first official Mailbox Hug. I sent it to my sister-in-law because her basement had flooded and she was feeling a bit down. The inside sentiment reads "Wish I could wave a magic wand and make it all better.".
White 4" x 5 1/2" card stock base
Teal Mat 4" x 5 1/2"
Plaid Mat 3 3/4" x 5 1/4"
Teal Flower Mat 3 3/8" x 4 7/8"
Above papers are from My Mind's Eye "Simply Delightful" Stack
Parchment Mat 2 7/8" x 4 3/8" The Paper Studio
All mats are inked with Tim Holtz Tea Dye Distress Ink.
Fairy "Kim" cut at 3 1/2" from the Circuit Lite "Playtime" cartridge & popped up on foam tape. I didn't care for her star so this star is from Create a Critter p.71 & I added yellow glitter glue.
Sentiment (inside) "Wish I could wave a magic wand and make it all better."
